Role and Responsibilities

• Identifies financial status by comparing and analyzing actual results with plans and forecasts.
• Guides cost analysis process by establishing and enforcing policies and procedures; providing trends and forecasts; explaining processes and techniques; recommending actions.
• Improves financial status by analyzing results; monitoring variances; identifying trends; recommending actions to management.
• Recommends actions by analyzing and interpreting data and making comparative analyses; studying proposed changes in methods and materials.
• Perform financial forecasting, reporting, and operational metrics tracking; Analyze financial data and create financial models for decision support
• Perform market research, data mining, business intelligence, and valuation comps
• Maintain a strong financial analysis foundation creating forecasts and models
• Responsible for budget and regular re-forecast focusing on International print ad revenue and ad sales and marketing costs; analyze revenue and cost variance data for management review and discussion on performance.
• Provide input on pricing for Asia print ad proposals by comparing book history and cross-checking with US counterpart

Requirements

• 5 years or above of business finance or other relevant experience
• Bachelor’s Degree or above; major in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or Statistics are preferred
• Able to work under pressure; multi-tasking at the same time and submit on time
• Fluency in spoken and written Chinese and English is a must.
• Proficient in problem-solving, analytical and data gathering, and presentation skills
• Strong quantitative and analytical competency; experience working with, and presenting to, senior executives
• Ability to streamline functions and, self-motivated and passionate to learn and grow in a fast-paced work environment
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel
