The Job
We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Assistant Accountant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will have a basic understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, and compliance. The Assistant Accountant will support the team in maintaining financial records, preparing reports, and ensuring accuracy in accounting activities. This role requires a willingness to learn, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

As an Assistant Accountant, you’ll be part of our Finance team located in Macau. You’ll get to:

• Financial Reporting: Assist in preparing and analyzing monthly financial statements in compliance with US GAAP/local GAAP. Support the generation of financial reports for management.
• General Ledger Management: Help maintain and reconcile the general ledger. Ensure financial transactions are accurately recorded and classified.
• Month-End Close Support: Assist in supporting the month-end close process.
• Tax Compliance: Assist in preparing and filing tax returns, ensuring compliance with local regulations.
• Internal Controls: Support the implementation of internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure financial accuracy.
• Cross-functional Collaboration: Work with cross-functional teams to help streamline financial processes.
• Special Projects: Participate in ad-hoc financial analysis and projects as required by management.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Fresh graduates are welcome; relevant internship or part-time experience is an advantage.
• Basic knowledge of GAAP/IFRS and financial reporting standards.
• Proficiency in MS Excel; experience in using accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle) is an advantage.
• Good analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work in a team environment.
• Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese.
• Macau ID holder.
