Position Purpose & Objectives:

-Oversee controllership and FP&A function of GSMA Finance for GSMA business in Asia. Fulfill the financial reporting and controls framework of SBD, statutory compliance and managing business operating costs and working capital budgeting and forecasting function. 

Major Tasks and Level Accountability:
-Support Head of Finance to supervise teams of accounting staff for handling full set of accounting books and records of the companies within Asia.
-Prepare and compile consolidation, management reports, budgeting, forecasting and financial analysis for business operating costs and working capital (Accounts Receivable and Payables).
-Conduct reviews and evaluations for cost saving opportunities of business operating costs.
-Perform timely and accurate month-end closing under SBD policy
-Ensure internal controls are working effectively and efficiently under SOX and SBD Controls framework requirement. 
-Formulate and review rules, regulations, policy and procedures of financial business operations;
-Undertake any projects required by the management;
-Provides coaching and training to the staff. Also managing career development of the team members

Education or Experience:
-University degree holder. Major in accountancy or qualified accountant (CPA)
-Min 8 years solid finance and accounting experience of which at least 3 years in supervision position managing offsite employee in different locations. Candidate with internal audit experience or Big Four background is a plus.
-Super user for financial systems and reporting or financial forecasting systems using best of breed software such as HFM, SAP or similar solutions;
-Fluent English ability in speaking & writing;
-Immediate available highly preferred;
-Excellent problem solving skills and have a positive “can-do” attitude;
-Good communication skills, analytical skills with all levels of people worldwide;
-Project management skills desired, ability to influence others using reason as well as data, ability to multi-task;
-Flexibility in tight time frames with minimal supervision;
