Arrange provision of F&B and non-F&B materials and services at right price, right quality, right time and right place

Participate in purchase strategy formulation to maximize value of suppliers

Maintain an efficient and effective supplier base that best supports business unit's business and operational requirements.

Review supplier base from time to time by collecting latest market, supplier and potential supplier information.

Collect latest product, market and price trend information and disseminate this information to business units.

Plan, organize, implement and review section's activities to maximize operation efficiency and effectiveness.

Provide guidance to buyers in accordance with company's code of conducts and purchasing ethics

Keep and maintain comprehensive supporting documents for audit trial.

Verify purchase requisitions

Invite quotations, negotiate with suppliers and complete the purchase requisitions for approval

Prepare purchase orders for approval
-
Follow up on purchase orders and expedite delivery

Check periodically the quality of incoming goods upon receiving

Perform other duties as assigned by the Purchasing and Warehousing Manager

Supervise the Purchasing Department in the absence of the Purchasing & Warehousing Manager

At least 2 years as a senior buyer or Purchasing Officer in hospitality industry; experience using Micro-Fidelio purchasing system is definitely a plus.

Holder of diploma/certificate of Purchasing and Supply will be an added advantage.
