Our client, world-leading provider of telecommunications equipment and related services to mobile and fixed network operators globally, is now requiring 8 Service & Resource Fulfillment Engineers to help their development in Macau.
Job Responsibilities
- Report to the manager of Back Office
- Responsible for overall Quality of Service and performance data in the Operations Centre
- Provision new equipment and applications with configuration data to enable Operations to be able to support
- Remote data fill (data translation/transcript) activities to configure new resources into the Operational network as per instructions from Planning & Engineering
- Analyse failure trends and identify chronic failures
- Attend all tollgate meetings in the Strategy, Infrastructure & Product (i.e., Engineering & Planning, Applications Development) areas to ensure Operational requirements are met for additions, moves & changes of services.
- Maintain a base library of service & resource configuration data and keep the Operational Inventory databases up to date with the appropriate information required by the business to manage the resources and services Provide optimum use of the existing Networks
- Presales support
- A Management & Control function that tracks vendors orders from when Sales is completed to when order is fulfilled
- Remote data fill activities to configure the service in the network elements/nodes
- Track final Operational Acceptance of new resources and ensure that Operations has the correct information and process to not accept, conditionally accept or fully accept
- Liaise the smooth handover of services from Technology Integration to Operations
- Provision new equipment and applications with configuration data as per the service and equipment specification
- Recommend service re-design to avoid service quality problems or capacity problems
Job Requirements
- Macau ID Holder
- Degree holder in Electrical Engineering /Telecommunication Engineering /Computer Science /Computer Engineering or equivalent.
- Minimum 1 years of relevant experience in telecommunication industry or equivalent experience
- Adequate support system knowledge and shall be able to use required applications after proper set-up, with use of documentation without further assistance
- Telecommunications knowledge e.g. telephony switching principles, traffic concepts, telecommunication networks, signaling and product functional demands
- Basic knowledge in Access-, Core-, Transport-, and Service- Networks
- Good communication skill in both oral and written English
- Customer oriented
