Our client, world-leading provider of telecommunications equipment and related services to mobile and fixed network operators globally, is now requiring 8 Planning/Engineering Engineers to help their development in Macau.

Job Responsibilities

Report to the manager of Planning and Design
Ensures the existing network quality from a life-cycle perspective to keep it up to date with changed business volumes, business requirements and current operational environment requirements etc
Capacity planning based on the outcome from the Network and Service Life Cycle Management in combination with actual figures on current capacity, utilization and trends is also one of his/her important responsibility
To act 3rd level support to assist back office for solution and service troubleshooting
Assist the Planning and Design manager for the approval of solution design and network capacity plan execution
Perform resource capacity planning
To write requirement specification of new service and resource design
To produce user acceptance document with input from vendors, 1st&2nd level operations and customer service department
To estimate investment forecast on new service and resource

Job Requirements

Macau ID Holder
Degree holder in Information Engineering or equivalent.
Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in telecommunication industry of which at least one year must have been spent working on network and solution design
General understanding of VAS, Mobile and Fix Traffic cases. For complimentary products, broad knowledge of Unix operating system is essential
Telecommunications knowledge e.g. telephony switching principles, traffic concepts, telecommunication networks, signalling and product functional demands
Good GSM/WCDMA capacity planning knowledge
Excellent documentation skill
Self motivated and works well under pressure
Open minded, positive with a flexible attitude and willing to work in teams of diverse professional and cultural background
Good command of English with communication skills
Good in analytic and investigation technique
