Systems Analyst Position Job Description

Advanced Analogic Technologies Incorporated (AnalogicTech), a US NASDAQ listed company,  is a supplier of power management semiconductors for mobile consumer electronic devices, such as wireless handsets, notebook and tablet computers, smartphones, digital cameras, and digital audio players. AnalogicTech,  is currently seeking a Programmer/Analyst position to support our Business Applications Department.  The successful candidate will be responsible for the following activities:

• Analyze user’s requests, help develop functional and technical requirements
• Developing, maintaining, and unit testing application program code.
• Creating functional and technical documentation.
• Researching, interpreting, and building knowledge of applications and program code.
• Create reports for vertical organizations
• Learn and develop OLAP models and cubes to support Data Warehouse Initiative
• Support daily, month-end, and year-end operational activities
• Participating in any and all reasonable work activities as may be deemed suitable and assigned by management.
• Candidate must be flexible in having multiple extended stay assignments to multiple regions in Asia and the United States
• Travel is required

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Business Information Systems, or a related field of study.
• Experience in supporting an ERP system ( Oracle, SAP, Netsuite, QAD, MFG Pro, etc. )
• Experience supporting at least one vertical organization as a systems analyst ( i.e. Manufacturing, Sales & Marketing, Finance, Purchasing, Engineering )
• Experience in Database Development (PL/SQL, Oracle and/or T-SQL, MS SQL Server )
• Solid understanding of all phases of the SDLC
• Comfortable in SQL programming and in using Excel as data analysis and reporting tools
• Ability to develop test cases and transactions in order to test program logic.
• Ability to productively interact with co-workers, peers, and customers.
• Seeks creative solutions to complex problems
• Self-starter, with ability to work under minimum supervision
• Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.  English fluency is a must.
• Ability to completely maintain confidentiality and discretion in business relationships and exercise sound business judgment.
• Strong desire to learn different aspects of the business as well as new technologies.

Desired Proficiencies but not required

• IFS ERP experience
• UNIX/Linux experience
• Microsoft .NET Development (C#.NET, VB.NET)
• Business Intelligence Development (SSRS, SSAS, SSIS, Hyperion)
• Working knowledge of Unix and/or Windows scripting
• Exposure and/or experience to fundamental business practices pertaining to semi-conductor manufacturing, finance, and international trading is definitely a plus
