Role description:
- Responsible for elements of larger cost
management assignments or a wider array of tasks on smaller assignments
under the supervision of another QS Director in order to achieve positive
outcomes for our clients.
Role
accountabilities:
- Manage the delivery of cost management in
small/medium commercial/retail/residential developments or significant
components of larger cost management assignments
- Liaise with all external and internal
stakeholders
- Responsible for delivering their scope of
work in line with various controls, and will have significant technical knowledge
and experience in their field, such as:
- Preparation of pre-contract cost estimates and project cash-flow
- Preparation of tender documentation
- Tendering process and tender evaluation
- Post-contract administration and management: contract documentation,
valuation of progress payment, variation assessment, and cost control
report
- Finalization of project final accounts
- Lead & assist in the coaching and
development of other team members in order to share knowledge, increase
team skill level and improve the standard of service delivery
- Provide specialist technical advice to
senior management on issues relating to cost/commercial management,
providing solutions and actively sharing knowledge in order to support
successful delivery
Qualifications
& Experience:
- Holder of Degree in Quantity Surveying,
Building Service Engineering or related disciplines is preferred.
- 8-10+years’ relevant experience in Cost
Management /or Quantity Surveying
- Less experienced candidates will be
considered as Assistant Cost Manager / Assistant Team Leader
- Proven successful track record working in
corporate client and consultant firm
- Candidates with experience in working
with banking/retail/hospitality client is preferred
- Successful track record in managing major
projects
- Good command of English & Cantonese
- Professional knowledge in E&M
Quantity Surveying
- Experience in MEP projects is a must
