PRIMARY OBJECTIVE
Operations Manager will assist Retail Operations Manager to upgrade the retail team in order to maximize sales volume, optimize sales staff’s productivity and services levels.
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Assist back office team to produce analytical reports for store level with action plan.
• Prepare the roster in order to allocate the right headcount in stores to support sales and operations.
• Coordinate the product assortment, replenishment, allocation, price tags, price update, and expiring dates monitor.
• Coordinate with Logistics team at store-room for GWP, testers, samples, store supplies, stab bags and help to organize stocktake.
• Monitor stock shortage and ensure correct execution of loss prevention program to protect the company of any stock shortage
• Monitor and increase the productivities (sales, staff, space, customer penetration).
• Be responsible for the ultimate customer experience at our stores.
• Work closely with related Departments to achieve the sales budget and sales target.
• Manage the development of our staff (sales, skills, customer service, and product knowledge).
• Lead by example, assist to coach and motivate retail staff team to fulfill the company’s selling and service standards and maximize the customer’s experience at MIA.
• Coordinate with HR Dept (recruitment, training, talent retention etc.) Merchandising (merchandising assortment, sell thru rate etc.),.
• Work with Store Managers for rosters and operations planning, and for maintenance and security issues.
• Coordinate with back office team for any pre or post sales operations needed (including cashiering, internal and brand training, airport permit control and promoter agency).
• Any ad-hoc duties as per assigned
REQUIREMENTS
• 4 years of related work experience in retail operations, preferably in a FMCG or retail environment (experience in Travel Retail and/or beauty-fashion is a plus).
• Degree in Business or Management
• Entrepreneur and result oriented mindset with creativity
• Self-starter with strong business acumen and result-oriented
• Demonstrated ability to build effective teams and motivate employees.
• Able to lead and coach large numbers of sales staff team
• Good project and time management skills
• Excellent customer service focus
