Responsibilities

• Assist the Head of Legal & Compliance to oversee local compliance issues to ensure the operation are in compliance with internal policies and external regulations
• Provide advice to business units and support on full spectrum of compliance functions, including but not limited to implementation of compliance policy, procedures and other compliance controls etc.
• Conduct regular and ad-hoc compliance monitoring procedures and checking
• Provide recommendations on compliance issues and findings being identified
• Review and update internal compliance and operation manuals on regular and ad hoc basis

Requirements

• Degree Holder in Law / Legal, Finance or related discipline
• Minimum of 6 years compliance experience in banking industry
• Preferably with solid audit exposure and supervisory experience
• Well versed in laws, regulations, rules, guidelines, industry practices, etc. applicable to the banking industry, in particular, the AML.CFT laws and guidelines
• Sound knowledge in financial products and services, including banking, loans, securities, insurance, etc.
• Good analytical, presentation and supervisory skills
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
