Financial Controller

Our client is a Macau-bases development and investment company. The company’s primary focus is to provide high-quality dormitory housing for Macau’s hospitality industry. We are now looking for an enthusiastic, organized, self motivated individual in order to fill the position of Financial Controller.

Job Description:

-Maintain the General Ledger, ensure the timely and accurate recording of journal entries and review journal entries.

-Financial Statement preparation and review

-Review and approve Bank Reconciliations, Petty Cash Counts, GL Account

-Reconciliations and Fixed Asset Registers

-Manage the Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable Receivable functions

-Approve intercompany account reconciliations and manage the balances

-Enter payroll entries and prepare reconciliations

-Preparation of information utilized for tax filings

-Understand all of the key business agreements (client contracts/leases/bank borrowing etc)

-Prepare monthly financial analysis reports, annual budgets and forecasts

-Prepare management analysis of new and current projects as well as collect market data and information as required

-Manage the cash balances in the company’s bank accounts, as well as the bank loans, as directed by management

-Responsible for maintaining QuickBooks

-Handle as-hoc assignments when required

Job requirement:

-Degree holder or above in Finance/Accounting

-5years or above in relevant experience

-Qualified Accountants is preferred

-Proficient in both spoken and written Cantonese and English

-Proficient in MS Office and QuickBooks is preferred

-Able to think independently and provide suggestion, input and feedback regarding the company’s procedures and strategy

-Mature, honest, team player and good sense of responsibility

-Diligent individual, well organized with multi-tasking skills
