Our client is a global entertainment company with presence around the world. They are known for their show stopping performances in Las Vegas, Tokyo, and now in Macau. Macau is set to be their corporate headquarters for all of Asia for both their resident show and touring shows.

Summary:

Serving as a strategic and tactical business. Application of and compliance with GAAP, tax laws, government regulations and Corporate financial policy. Providing financial leadership and direction to financial disciplines. Maintaining productive working relations with Business Partners.

Reporting to: the Directing Manager and functionally to the Senior Finance Director

Job Description:

• Provide strategic and tactical financial analysis, advice and recommendations to improve business performance and profitability.

• Understand, interpret and apply Generally Accepted Accounting Standards, federal and state laws, federal and state tax regulations and Corporate Accounting Policy to business operations.

• Provide leadership and direction for Finance disciplines encompassing Accounting, Financial Reporting, Payroll, Tax, Financial Planning & Analysis, Treasury, and Business Insurance assuring effective and efficient delivery of services

• Design, develop and maintain an effective and efficient organizational structure that meets the unique financial needs.

• Identify and maintain Best Business Practices in all Finance operations.

• Train, coach and develop a skilled financial team that meets Corporate customer needs.

• Maintain productive working relationships with Business Partners to facilitate business needs and optimize profitability.

• Liaison with Corporate peers and counterparts.

• Handle any ad-hoc tasks assigned.

 Job requirements:

• Bachelor degree in Accounting or related field. CPA or equivalent is a plus.

• Minimum 5 years experience with at least 2 in a supervisory/managerial capacity.

• Fluent in written and spoken English and Chinese

• Advanced knowledge of MS Office & familiarity with major Enterprise Resource Planning accounting software programs.

• Ability to provide leadership and direction to the Finance/Accounting team.
