System Engineer
Responsibilities:
· Perform the implementation and support of IT system infrastructure and Data Center facilities.
· Maximum the uptime of production server infrastructure by deploying automated problem alert system.
· Perform regular server tuning, backup, housekeeping and other system administration / maintenance tasks in a professional manner.
· Monitor and report performance issues as required and manage escalation.
· IT technology and product evaluation
· Perform system and database capacity monitoring and conduct upgrade.
· Documentation for developing a set of guidelines and procedures in compliance of corporate policies.
Requirements:
· Degree holder in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Information Technology or related disciplines.
· Minimum 2 years experience in administration of Linux & Windows, familiar in AIX / UNIX
is an advantage
· Comprehensive knowledge in AD, SAN Storage, Clustering and Virtualization / DR environment is an advantage
· Familiar in Apache HTTPD, Tomcat and IIS as preferable.
· Basic knowledge in Oracle and MS SQL administration and operation.
· Experience in managing sizable IT system projects, preferably in a large enterprise.
· Good analytical and documentation skills
· Experience in system security & project management is an advantage
· Experience in formal Change / Problem management processes
· Proactive, self-motivated, open-minded and able to work as part of a team
· Fluent in English and Chinese.
